Gray Line Slovenia · Ljubljana
A 10-hour minivan day from Ljubljana that covers Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle and Lake Bled, with eight people at most. It's the best-rated trip on this site, and the only one that adds the lake, but every entrance ticket is extra.

This is the Gray Line day for people with one free day and a long list. You meet opposite the City Hotel at 8:20 AM, ride south to Postojna Cave (about two hours, train included in the cave visit), then Predjama Castle (an hour), then cross the country to Lake Bled for the lake, Bled Island and Bled Castle. It holds 4.9 from 945 reviews, the best score on this site.
The fare covers the minivan and a licensed driver-guide, and that's it. The listing prices the extras: cave and castle from EUR 46.50, the pletna boat to Bled Island EUR 20 and Bled Castle EUR 19. Take all three and you add about EUR 85 per person. You can skip any of them, and guests like that choice: one wrote that the guide explains "all ticketing options to save money".
Two things to know. The guide drives and briefs you, but at each site you go in on your own or with the park's guides, and a few reviewers expected more. And it's a long day with short gaps for food. Pack snacks. If Bled isn't on your list, the half-day version runs the same route to the cave and castle.
Dalmatinova ulica 10, Ljubljana. Board the minivan.
Ride the cave train in, walk past the formations with the park's guide and see the olms at the end.
Dark staircases, the armoury and the legend of Erazem Predjama.
A stop on the shore, then the optional pletna boat to Bled Island (about an hour) and Bled Castle on its cliff (about an hour).
The tour ends at the meeting point.
★★★★★Fabulous tour to see the highlights of Slovenia in one day. Great driver/guide. Very clear directions. Easy to find collection point, on time. Lovely clean and comfortable minibus. Ample time in each destination. Bring snacks and drinks to have between stops [...]
★★★★★Took the Slovenia in one day tour today with Luka. Excellent in every way. The day unfolded exactly as described, and Luka provided non-stop commentary about the sites as well as great insights into Slovenian history, culture and lifestyle.
★★★★★Lake Bled is a must see and the cave tour is fascinating - the train is a bonus that saves your legs and allows you to see more than would be otherwise accessible!
★★★★★Collected promptly and we had an excellent guide who was informative and entertaining. It's a full day out and we came home tired but was well worth it. A couple of additional costs for the Lake and castle entries, not a bother.

No. All are optional and paid on the day: Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle from EUR 46.50, the pletna boat to Bled Island EUR 20 and Bled Castle EUR 19 per person, per the listing.
About 10 hours from the 8:20 AM start opposite the City Hotel. The listing plans about two hours at the cave, one at the castle and the rest at Lake Bled.
The guide drives, explains each site and shows you where to buy tickets. Inside Postojna Cave the park's own guides lead the tour, and a guest noted the driver does not go into each site with you.
Eight people at most in a minivan. Gray Line says never a big coach.
